Open the summary for an at-a-glance view, or send a request about billing, access, or safety concerns.
1. Acceptance & eligibility
By accessing or using SoapCraft Academy, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or purchase products.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent/guardian’s consent and supervision.
- You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your location.
- If you use the Academy on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind it.
2. Account, security
Some features require an account (e.g., course progress, downloads, community access). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- Do not share your account credentials or provide access to third parties.
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
- We may require identity or ownership verification to assist with account recovery.
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe your account is compromised, being shared, or used in violation of these Terms.
3. License & intellectual property
All content (videos, PDFs, text, designs, trademarks) is owned by or licensed to SoapCraft Academy and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to payment (if applicable) and your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the content for your personal, non-commercial educational use.
- Do not copy, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or publicly display the content.
- Do not record live sessions unless explicitly permitted in writing.
- Do not remove watermarks, branding, or notices.
If you need business licensing or team access, contact us before using materials beyond personal learning.
4. Payments, renewal, taxes
Prices and available payment methods are shown at checkout. You authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge the selected payment method for your order and any applicable renewals.
- Subscriptions: Renew automatically until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund prior periods.
- One-time purchases: Provide access as described on the product page at time of purchase.
- Taxes: You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or fees required by your jurisdiction.
Failed payments may result in temporary suspension or loss of access until payment is successfully processed.
5. Refunds & cancellations
We aim to be fair while protecting the value of digital content. Refunds depend on the product and the amount of access already provided.
- Digital courses and downloads: Once accessed or downloaded, refunds may be denied except where required by law.
- Live workshops/coaching: Refunds may be available if requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled start (unless stated otherwise at checkout).
- Subscriptions: You can cancel anytime to avoid future charges; partial-month refunds are typically not provided.
To request a refund, contact support with your order email, purchase date, and the reason for your request. We may ask for additional details to prevent fraud.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, our services, or our community. This includes attempts to disrupt, reverse engineer, or circumvent security measures.
- No credential sharing, scraping, automated access, or resale of access.
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or targeted abuse in community spaces.
- No uploading malware or attempting unauthorized access to accounts or infrastructure.
- No posting content that violates laws or infringes others’ rights.
We may remove content, restrict participation, or terminate accounts for violations, with or without notice depending on severity.
7. Community and submissions
If the Academy offers comments, forums, or community areas, you remain responsible for anything you post. You retain ownership of your submissions, but you grant us a license to display and use them to operate the community and improve the service.
- Don’t post confidential info, sensitive personal data, or anything you do not have rights to share.
- We may moderate, remove, or restrict content to keep the environment safe and useful.
- We are not responsible for third-party actions in community areas, but we do take reports seriously.
If you believe your content is being used improperly, contact us with relevant details and links.
8. Disclaimers
Soap-making involves ingredients (e.g., lye/alkalis), tools, fragrances, and processes that can pose risks. The Academy content is for educational purposes and is provided “as is” and “as available.”
- You are responsible for safe handling, protective equipment, ventilation, and proper storage.
- You are responsible for verifying product safety, labeling, and compliance if you sell products.
- We do not guarantee results, profitability, or that techniques will be error-free in your environment.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers; in those cases, disclaimers apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoapCraft Academy and its instructors, partners, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the services will not exceed the amount you paid to the Academy in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim (or, if greater, the minimum required by law).
You agree to use the services at your own discretion and risk.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse content, or create risk for the Academy or other users. You may also stop using the services at any time.
- Termination may include removal of access to content, downloads, and community spaces.
- Sections that by nature should survive termination (e.g., IP, disclaimers, liability) will survive.
11. Changes to services/terms
We may change, update, or discontinue parts of the services (e.g., course library organization, features, community tools) to improve quality or comply with legal requirements.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
If a change is material and you have an active subscription, we may provide additional notice where feasible.
