SoapCraft Academy is a practical, home-focused soapmaking program covering cold process foundations, formulation thinking, and safe workflow habits. It’s designed for beginners who want structure, and for hobbyists who want more predictable results and better troubleshooting.

How long do I get access to the course materials?#access-duration

Standard access is 12 months from purchase date, including all updates released during that window. If you need an extension (travel, health, workload), contact support and we’ll help you keep momentum without re-buying.

Can I download videos or view lessons offline?#offline-viewing

Lessons are designed for secure streaming in your browser. You can download supporting PDFs (checklists, calculators, and recipes) when provided inside a lesson. If your internet is unstable, we recommend setting playback to a lower quality and using the lesson summaries as offline notes.

Do you provide a certificate of completion?#certificate

Yes. After completing the final assessment checklist, you can request a digital certificate. It’s intended for learning documentation and portfolio use; it is not a government license. If you’re launching a business, check your local regulatory requirements as well.

Do you cover global compliance (EU/UK/US labeling and safety)?#compliance-global

We teach compliance principles (ingredient documentation, batch traceability, safety data mindset, and labeling clarity) and provide region-aware guidance. Regulations vary widely, so we don’t replace a local consultant, but we do help you understand what to ask and how to organize your paperwork.

Yes. We emphasize usage rates, testing, and documentation. You’ll learn practical guardrails (how to avoid over-scenting), plus why certain materials have stricter limits. We also cover labeling habits that help customers with sensitivities make informed choices.

What if my batch goes wrong—do you cover troubleshooting?#troubleshooting

Absolutely. We teach a diagnostic approach: trace behavior, temperature, water ratio, additives, and mixing. You’ll get a “symptom → likely cause → recovery” framework for issues like acceleration, ricing, separation, soda ash, and texture problems.

What is your refund policy?#refunds

If you’re within 14 days of purchase and have completed less than 20% of the content, you can request a refund. This balances fairness while protecting the program from “download-and-refund” misuse. If something is genuinely off (access issues, double charge), contact us and we’ll resolve it quickly.

What payment methods do you accept and can I get an invoice?#payments

We accept major debit/credit cards. After purchase, you can request an invoice/receipt for bookkeeping. For corporate training receipts, include your billing name and address in the request form.
